This year, he’s up for two of their most prominent awards, and it could be the year he adds one or two to his collection with a little help from his fans and industry friends.
The Urban X Awards announced their nominees in over 50 categories. Thanks to his fans and industry friends, Derek Kage made the list twice this year for Best Gay Performer and Best Couple Sex Scene for ForPlay Films’ “Tune Up” opposite Nicole Kitt. Now he’s asking his fans to vote daily and post about it on social media to encourage others to do the same.
It’s easy to #rockthevote. Go to urbanxweekend.com/voting, look for his categories (Best Gay Performer and Best Couple Sex Scene), click the circle next to his name or his scene’s name, and smash the SUBMIT OFFICIAL BALLOT button. You can vote every 24 hours through July 15th.
“I’ve been on a winning streak this year, and it would be incredible to win one or both of these awards. Winning fan-voted awards always means a lot to me. I really appreciate my fans nominating me and taking time out of their busy day to vote for me,” says Derek Kage.
