Jim Powers Snags 2 Wins at the TEAs
(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning, prolific director Jim Powers’ epic feature and one of his scenes won trophies at the 2026 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs).
On Sunday night, the glitzy and glamorous TEAs, complete with multiple star-studded red carpets, happened at the Avalon in Hollywood, and the turnout was tremendous. The first award of the night was Best DVD, and Gender X Films' “Transpirella,” which Jim Powers directed, art directed, and wrote, took home the trophy. Jim took the stage alongside the stars, including Ariel Demure, who played the lead, Jade Venus, Avery Lust, and Kasey Kei. Jim took the stage a second time when Adult Time’s “Too Many Tops!” for the Accidental Gangbang series won Best Threesome/Moresome Scene. Joining him were almost all the stars: Khloe Kay, Jade Venus, Ariel Demure, Kasey Kei, and Avery Lust.
“This is the one awards show I look forward to every year. It’s great to see the trans community celebrated and revered. Kristel and Steven do an incredible job. Thank you for the recognition for ‘Transpirella’ and ‘Too Many Tops.’ Both were incredible to shoot and some of my best trans work of 2025,” says Jim Powers.
